Machinery safety — Regulation (EU) 2023/1230: from €1,500 – €6,000 (net EUR · indicative). The new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027, replacing Directive 2006/42/EC. CE needs a documented risk assessment (EN ISO 12100), electrical safety of the equipment (EN 60204-1) and, where safety functions apply, EN ISO 13849 — with a Notified Body for the higher-risk machinery in Annex I.
