RED wireless (EN 300 328) testing cost in the EU
RED radio compliance — EN 300 328 + EN 301 489: from €2,500 – €8,000 (net EUR · indicative). Any product with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other radio falls under the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU. CE needs three legs: radio/RF (EN 300 328 for 2.4 GHz), EMC (EN 301 489) and electrical safety (EN 62368-1) — plus the RED Art. 3(3) cybersecurity requirements that became mandatory in 2025.
